ODS Service - Pinterest

Pinterest

Pinterest is a platform for sharing and discovering ideas through images and pins. Here too there can be illegal content or accounts suspended without explanation.

If Pinterest removed your pin, suspended your account or did not act on a notice you sent it, and Pinterest's internal complaint system did not change the decision, Article 21 of the Digital Services Act (DSA) lets you ask ADR Center, a body certified by AGCOM, for a free independent review through its ODS service. Independent experts examine Pinterest's decision and issue a non-binding decision.

Pinterest decisions you can have reviewed:

Illegal or prohibited content: images or pins that break the law or the platform's rules left online after your notice, or your own pins removed.

Accounts suspended without explanation: you can no longer access your profile or your pins.

Notices left unanswered: Pinterest did not remove non-compliant material you reported.

Digital platforms you can open a case about

Under the Digital Services Act (Article 21), you can ask for an independent review of a decision taken by an online platform, such as the removal of content or the suspension of an account, after filing an internal complaint with the platform. Here you will find the main digital platforms, from Amazon to Facebook and from TikTok to Booking, with clear information on how the process works.
