Microsoft 365 is Microsoft's office suite, used by businesses and individuals, and includes tools such as Outlook, OneDrive, Teams and Word. Not everything that happens in the suite falls under Article 21 of the Digital Services Act (DSA): Outlook email and file storage on OneDrive are communication between people and storage space, and they are outside this procedure, as are access problems that do not result from a Microsoft moderation decision.
The review covers Microsoft's moderation decisions on content you make available to the public or on your account, for example a removal or a suspension because content was considered illegal or contrary to the terms of service. If you challenged such a decision through Microsoft's internal complaint system and it was upheld, Article 21 of the DSA lets you ask ADR Center, a body certified by AGCOM, for a free independent review through its ODS service. Independent experts examine Microsoft's decision and issue a non-binding decision; nobody can promise the outcome.
Account suspended or restricted: Microsoft blocked your account because it considers some of your content illegal or contrary to its terms.
OneDrive and Outlook: problems with stored files or with email are outside this procedure.
Restrictions without a clear explanation: Microsoft restricted your account or some of your public content without giving understandable reasons.
Notices left unanswered: Microsoft did not act on a notice you sent it about publicly available content.
