Shein is a very popular e-commerce platform, especially for competitively priced clothing and accessories. Like any marketplace, it takes moderation decisions: it can suddenly suspend or block an account, remove a review or a listing, or leave online illegal content you reported to it.
If you disagree with one of these decisions and Shein's internal complaint system did not change it, Article 21 of the Digital Services Act (DSA) lets you ask ADR Center, an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified by AGCOM, for a free independent review through its ODS service. Independent experts examine Shein's decision and issue a non-binding decision.
Orders, non-conforming products, shipping, returns and refunds are outside this procedure: the review only covers Shein's decisions on content and accounts.
Accounts suspended or blocked without notice: you can no longer access your profile.
Illegal or prohibited content: listings or material that break the law, notified and left online.
Poorly explained account decisions: Shein does not clearly explain why it restricted or suspended your account.
